Admission

St. Michael's is committed to fostering economic diversity within its community. Therefore, we endeavor to support our families with flexible tuition payment schedules as well as Financial Assistance.

Tuition

We endeavor to make tuition payments as flexible as possible, offering three separate payment plans. Families can choose to pay the full tuition at time of enrollment, divide it into two payments of 60% on or before July 1 and 40% on December 1 or make ten monthly installments. Tuition at St. Michael's does not include After School Programs, Tutorials or Summer Programs. The "Book and Supply Fee" of $385 covers the cost of classroom materials such as math manipulatives, computer and science lab supplies, art supplies and a copy of our school yearbook.

The tuition breakdown for the 2008-2009 academic year is described below.

Preschool and Prekindergarten (half-day): $9,750.00
K-Grade 4: $16,800.00
Grades 5-8: $19,010.00

Financial Assistance

Families who wish to be considered for financial assistance should request an information packet and financial assistance form when they submit their application for admission. Forms for financial assistance, and all supporting documents, must be submitted by April 15th. Please know that admission decisions are made independent of financial assistance needs. Financial assistance awards are granted in late April to families who have submitted their forms by the April 15th deadline.

Unfortunately, the school's limited resources may mean that not all families that qualify for financial assistance will be awarded a grant. In addition, we cannot honor requests for assistance for apllicants to our preschool and prekindergarten half-day programs. However, we will do our best to ensure that as many needs as possible are met.
